1. About These Terms

These terms set out the basis on which Bamnan Law provides legal services to clients in Thailand. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to the terms described below. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, we are happy to explain before any engagement begins.

Bamnan Law is a legal practice registered and operating in Thailand. Our principal office is at 73 Ratchadamnoen Road, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200. We specialise in pension entitlement matters and related legal assistance for retirees and workers under Thai pension frameworks.

2. Services We Provide

We offer the following services, each subject to individual engagement and a written confirmation of scope:

  • Pension Rights Review: A careful review of pension entitlements, documents, and records, with a written plain-language summary of the findings and available options.
  • Benefit Recalculation Assistance: Support in gathering records and preparing requests to have a pension reassessed where figures appear inconsistent with entitlements.
  • Appeals and Dispute Representation: Representation through formal appeals or dispute processes relating to pension decisions, including case preparation and document handling.

Each matter is assessed individually. We will not commit to a course of action without first discussing the matter with you and issuing a written engagement letter.

3. Engagement and Fees

Our engagement with you begins upon your written acceptance of our engagement letter and the payment of any agreed initial fee. The fees stated on our website are indicative and reflect typical matters of standard complexity. The fee applicable to your matter will be confirmed in writing before any work commences.

Fees are payable in Thai Baht. Where a matter requires additional steps beyond those set out in the original engagement, we will notify you before proceeding and confirm any revised fee in writing.

We do not charge for initial enquiries submitted through our contact form or made by telephone. A consultation fee may apply to formal first meetings, which will be disclosed in advance.

4. Your Responsibilities

To allow us to assist you effectively, we ask that you:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your circumstances and documents.
  • Inform us promptly of any changes that may be relevant to your matter.
  • Respond to requests for information or documents within reasonable timescales so that deadlines can be met.
  • Keep us informed of your preferred contact details and notify us of any changes.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays or adverse outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by a client.

5. Confidentiality

All information you share with us in the course of your matter is treated as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except where we are required to do so by law or by a court of competent jurisdiction, or where disclosure is necessary to carry out your instructions (for example, corresponding with the Social Security Office on your behalf).

Our confidentiality obligations continue after the conclusion of your matter.

6. Limitations of Our Advice

Our advice is based on Thai law and pension regulations as they apply to your specific circumstances at the time of our engagement. We will always aim to explain our assessment clearly and honestly, including where the outcome of a matter is uncertain or where options carry different risks.

We do not offer financial advice, investment guidance, or tax advice. Our services are limited to legal assistance in pension entitlement matters. If your situation requires financial or tax guidance, we will say so and suggest you seek appropriate advice separately.

We cannot predict or influence decisions made by government bodies, pension funds, or courts. Our role is to support you in presenting your matter as clearly and carefully as possible.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, and any documents or summaries we prepare for you — is the intellectual property of Bamnan Law unless stated otherwise. Written advice and summaries prepared for you in the course of your matter are for your personal use only and should not be reproduced or shared without our written consent.
